KSRTC is introducing 143 new buses across various categories to improve public transport. The fleet includes AC sleeper, seater, sleeper-cum-seater, premium superfast, fast passenger, district-link fast passenger, and mini buses. These buses feature modern amenities and advanced safety systems. Alongside this, KSRTC has launched several digital services, including a barcode-based inventory system for students and a digital cloakroom facility for passengers.

As part of its rebranding, KSRTC has introduced the Orma Express, a special service featuring renowned Malayalis from art, literature, sports, and science. The initiative also presents KSRTC’s rich history, which began in 1937 under E.G. Salter and later played a role in uniting Travancore, Cochin, and Malabar into modern Kerala.
