Thiruvananthapuram, March 29: Kerala today reported 20 new Covid-19 cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in the State to 202. Eight of the new cases are from Kannur District, seven from Kasargod District and one each from Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram districts. Of the new cases, 18 are persons who returned from overseas and two have acquired the disease through local contact, one being a health worker in Ernakulam District. 181 persons are being treated for Coronavirus in various hospitals across Kerala.

Overall, 1,41,211 persons are under observation throughout the State. This includes 1,40,618 under home observation and 593 in hospitals. 6,690 samples have been sent for testing and 5,518 have tested negative. 105 people were hospitalised today in different districts.
