‘Werckmeister Harmonies’, movie by legendary Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr—the winner of the IFFK lifetime achievement award—will be screened on Day 5 (Tuesday) of the festival. Directed by Béla Tarr and Ágnes Hranitzky, the movie is based on the 1989 novel ‘The Melancholy of Resistance’ by László Krasznahorkai. Shot in black-and-white and composed of thirty-nine languidly paced shots, the film shows János and his uncle György during the communist Hungarian era. The film will be screened in New Theatre-2 at 8.30 pm.  The film’s only screening will be on Tuesday
