Kudumbashree, the organisation that has been leading women’s empowerment in Kerala, is all set to relaunch its online radio platform, RadioShree. This radio will offer both entertainment and useful information to listeners across the state.

RadioShree brings a variety of interesting programs for people of all ages. Shows like Sindooracheppu, Koottukaari, Radio Sreemathi, Nattarangu, RadioShree Sahityotsavam, and audiobooks will be part of the daily schedule. These programs aim to blend fun, knowledge, literature, and social awareness into one engaging platform.

The main goal of RadioShree is to use it as a tool to spread awareness about Kudumbashree’s projects, success stories, and activities. It also hopes to get more members of the public involved in Kudumbashree’s mission.

The radio will begin broadcasting at 7 AM tomorrow, with the support of the Malayalam Mission. To mark the launch, six one-hour special programs will be aired from 7 AM to 1 PM. Along with that, a five-minute Kudumbashree news bulletin will be broadcast every two hours.

To make listening easier, RadioShree has divided the day into four time slots of six hours each, making up a full 24-hour broadcast. Out of these 24 hours, 18 hours will be repeated, so that listeners can tune in to their favorite programs at their convenience.

The relaunch of RadioShree is expected to play a strong role in social progress and community building. By offering rich and meaningful content in the areas of entertainment, learning, literature, and news, it will help spread awareness and support Kudumbashree’s efforts to empower women and improve society.
