The fifth day of the IFFK will have screening of 11 international competition movies. Among them, Turkish thriller movie ‘Kerr’ and Hindi movie ‘Ek Jagah Apni’ will have their first screenings. Kerr develops through a story of murder wherein a person accidently became its witness. The movie will be screened at Ajanta theatre at 2:30 pm. Ek Jagah Apni tells the tale of two trans-women in search of a safe place to live. The movie is from the production of Ektara Collective, a group of independent film makers in Bollywood.

Movies like Convenience Store, Memoryland, Our Home, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, Utama, Concerned Citizen and Cordially Yours will be screened for the second time under this category. Hoopoe and Klondike will have their last shows in this festival.
