The International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK 2022) will screen 66 films on March 24, the seventh day of the popular event.
‘Nishiddho'(Forbidden) directed by Tara Ramanujan will be among the films screened on Thursday, along with ‘Anatolian Leopard’, a Turkish movie directed by EmreKayis; the Azerbaijan film ‘Sughra and Her Sons’; and ‘The Arbit: Documentation of an Amphibian Hunt’ (Aavasavyuham) directed by Krishand R.K., under the International Competition category.
A Tale of Love and Desire, a treatise on the intense love of an French-Algerian boy named Ahmed and a Tunisian girl named Farah; Miracle, from Romania, depicting the unexpected events that happen in the life of a nun; Silvia Brunelli’sThe Miracle Child, the story of a child with super powers; The Story of my Wife directed by Ildiko Enyedi; and Pedro, movies will be screened under the segment World Cinema.
Siddiq Barmak’s Opium War; The Knotby Ashish Pant; and Kallanottam (The False Eye), directed by Rahul RijiNairm are the other movies that will be screened on Thursday.
